Investigating the Structure and Phase Composition in Cr–Ta–W Alloy
摘要
Abstract
An alloy belonging to the Cr–Ta–W system is investigated using scanning and transmission electron microscopy combined with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. It contains the tungsten-doped intermetallic Laves phase Cr2Ta (C15) and BCC phases of chromium and tantalum. The structural-phase state of the alloy is explored. The concentrations of alloying elements in the above phases are estimated.
