摘要

Abstract

Using the transmission electron microscopy method, a quantitative analysis of the change in the fine structure parameters at different distances (0, 2, 10 mm) has been performed along the radius of rounding of the rail head made of hypereutectoid steel after long-term operation (passed tonnage is 234.7 million tons (gross)) on the Transbaikal railway. The morphological components of the structure have been determined: lamellar, destroyed, fragmented pearlite and subgrain structure. The sources of internal stresses have been noted and the sites of microcrack initiation have been identified.
