Expansion of Acanthoscelides pallidipennis (Motschulsky, 1874) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Bruchunae) Invasion Range to Kyrgyzstan

The paper repots the first record of the North American seed beetle Acanthoscelides pallidipennis (Motschulsky, 1874) in Kyrgyzstan. The beetle was detected in Amorpha fruticosa L. (Fabaceae) beans collected in 2025 on the territory of an ornamental plant nursery in the Chuy region. Seed damage level was 19.5%, with the mass flight of adults having been recorded in November. The parasitoid Pteromalus sp. (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) was detected in the Amorpha fruticosa collections along with the seed beetles.
