Abstract

This paper analyzes the distribution of the alien gastropod Physella acuta (Draparnaud, 1805) (Mollusca, Gastropoda) of North American origin in Belarus. In 2020, the species was recorded for the first time in the cooling pond of the Lukoml State District Power Plant, and this paper provides data on its body dimensions and seasonal and year-to-year abundance variations in this reservoir.
