We estimate the degree of approximation by matrix transform means of Vilenkin-Fourier series in classical Lebesgue spaces and in the space of continuous functions on special group \(G\) in terms of moduli of continuity. In many cases these results generalize ones obtained by I. Blahota and K. Nágy.
