Abstract

In this paper we examine some physicochemical and physical mechanical properties of film coatings obtained from composites based on polylactide, chitosan, and ceftriaxone, which can find application in the treatment of diabetic foot wounds and long-term non-healing burn wounds. The compositions were obtained on a laboratory plastograph followed by pressing. It was shown that the values of complex viscosity increased with increasing content of ceftriaxone and chitosan. It was found that the values of tensile stress and elongation decrease with an increase in the amount of ceftriaxone and chitosan introduced into the composition with polylactide. The value of the elastic modulus changes slightly. The recommended ceftriaxone content is no more than 5%, and the chitosan content is approximately 40%.
