Abstract

To create biodegradable containers with fertilizing and water-retaining properties, a series of composite samples was obtained using plasticized cellulose acetate, wood flour, NPK fertilizer, and sodium polyacrylate. The key physical and mechanical properties, the degree of degradation upon exposure to active soil for 60 days, and the effectiveness of NPK fertilizer contained in the samples were determined. The influence of material component content on the studied characteristics was also found.
