Abstract

A number of composite samples that contained ethylcellulose, wood flour, NPK fertilizer, and sodium polyacrylate were obtained. The aim of this work was to develop a material to create a biodegradable container that could provide fertilizer and retain water. Key physical and mechanical properties, the rate of sample decomposition during exposure to soil for 60 days, and the effectiveness of the NPK fertilizer included in the samples were assessed. The influence of the amount of material components on properties was studied.
