Abstract <p>The review presents analysis of the published data on the manufacturing technologies and application areas of polyethylene modified with maleic anhydride. It is shown that the traditional technology of manufacturing maleinized polyethylene by reactive melt extrusion is currently prevailing. The majority of publications concerning the application of maleinized polyethylene address its use as a material for anticorrosive coatings and compatibilizers.</p>
