An Oil- and Gasoline- and Frost-Resistant Thermoplastic Elastomer Based on a Mixture of Two Heteropolar Thermoplastic Vulcanizates
摘要
Abstract
The properties of a mixture of two thermoplastic vulcanizates have been studied: based on polypropylene and butadiene–nitrile rubber and based on polypropylene and ethylene–propylene rubber. The mixture is characterized by superadditive values of elasticity, frost resistance, and resistance to petroleum products. Changing the ratio of components makes it possible to easily regulate the hardness and obtain soft, elastic, oil- and gasoline-resistant, and frost-resistant grades of thermoplastic vulcanizates.
