The Role of Technological Factors in the Formation of the Structure of Open-Cell Foamed Materials Based on Ethylene–Propylene–Diene Copolymers by Compression Molding
摘要
Abstract
Ethylene–propylene copolymers are known for a wide range of valuable properties. Rubbers based on them, possessing weather resistance, resistance to aggressive environments and a wide temperature range of operation, are in demand in the production of open-cell elastomer materials (OCEMs). The complex of operational properties of OCEMs is determined by the morphological structure of the material. This paper presents a comparative analysis of the technologies of single- and two-stage methods for producing OCEMs based on ethylene–propylene–diene copolymer in vulcanization presses from the position of regulating its porous structure.
