Abstract

This article presents the results of experimental and theoretical studies of the process of testing various rubbers using dynamic thermogravimetry method. Thermogravimetric measurements were performed in the temperature scanning mode. A sample placed in the chamber is heated from 30 to 560°C in a nitrogen environment (at a rate of 30 mL/min) to perform thermal decomposition in an inert environment. Then there is cooling to 300°C with subsequent temperature equilibration for 2 min. To perform oxidative destruction at a temperature of 300°C, nitrogen is replaced by air (rate of 30 mL/min) and the sample continues to heat up to 800°C. The heating rate is 10 K/min. The decomposition kinetics specificity of each of the polymers under study helps to determine their quantitative presence in the vulcanizate, which can be calculated from the TG curve.
