Adhesive Compositions Based on Epoxy Anhydride Systems Modified with Poly Alkenyl Succinic Anhydrides
摘要
Abstract
The use of a reactive copolymer—poly alkenyl succinic anhydride, which is capable of being involved in the curing reaction—as a modifier of epoxy systems is considered. The copolymer compatibility with the epoxy system’s components; the impact, mechanical, adhesive, and thermal properties of cured samples; and their morphology are studied. The dual role played by the copolymer in modifying epoxy systems is demonstrated. For systems modified with this copolymer, a significant increase in strength, impact toughness, and adhesive strength is achieved.
