Obtaining an Epoxy-Acrylic Oligomer for Photocurable Varnishes
摘要
Research has been carried out in the field of technology for producing epoxy-acrylic oligomer, which is the main film-forming component in the formulations of most photocurable varnish systems. An easy-to-implement synthesis method based on epoxy resin and acrylic acid has been developed, which allows increasing the rate and conversion of the target product, as well as avoiding side reactions that reduce the yield of the target product and deteriorate the quality of the resulting product. The results of the study of the main technological characteristics of an oligomer industrially produced using the developed procedure have been presented to assess the possibility of its use as a film-forming agent in UV-curable varnishes for industrial use.
