The Evolution of the Adhesive Strength of a Fiber Matrix in Fiberglass Plastics under the Influence of Climatic Factors

Abstract
The values of the fiber-matrix adhesive strength are presented, as well as electron microscopic data on the microstructure of the polymer matrix and interfacial layer for fiberglass in the initial state and after exposure to various climatic factors. The most significant drop in adhesive strength was observed for the sample after heat and humidity aging and subsequent thermal cycling.
