Abstract
The first article in the series was published in issue 08–2023 of the journal Adhesives. Sealants. Technologies. The second article in the series discusses the most common thermal welding methods for thermoplastic-based plastic products. The technologies of welding using external heat sources: hot air, heated tool, and melt, are investigated in detail. The main parameters of welding technological regimes for the most common thermoplastic materials in mechanical engineering are provided.
