Aromatic Polysulfones: Synthesis, Properties, and Their Application. A Review

Abstract
The paper generalizes the information about the recent (from 2012) advances in the synthesis of aromatic sulfur-containing polymers, such as polyarylene sulfones, polyarylene sulfide sulfones, and their ethers. Their properties and application fields are described. The application of these polymers as proton- and anion-exchange membranes in fuel cells is considered in details.
