Free-Living Ciliates (Ciliophora) from Water Bodies of Samara Oblast during Cyanobacterial Bloom
摘要
Abstract
The characteristics of ciliate communities of Samara oblast are considered according to the type of bloom by cyanobacteria: mixed or with a monodomination of different functional groups of phytoplankton. The most specific species composition of ciliates is observed in water bodies dominated by Planktothrix agardhii. In general, species of the class Spirotrichea in nonblooming water bodies gave way to species of the class Oligohymenophorea in blooming water bodies; nonselective omnivores and algivores ciliates have been replaced by bactivores detritivores and histophages, respectively.
