Ichthyofauna of Lake Bolshoye Murakanskoye (Onezhskoye Pomorye National Park) and the Possibility of Using Its Fish Stocks
摘要
The species composition and structure of the fish community of Lake Bolshoye Murakanskoye have been identified for the first time, and data on the biology of the resident fish species are presented. The history of the lake’s ichthyofauna formation is described. The affiliation of the fish to freshwater faunistic complexes and ecological groups is examined. Currently, five fish species are found in Lake Bolshoye Murakanskoye, including valuable ones such as whitefish and vendace. It is noted that the water body is the only habitat of the common whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus L.) within the boundaries of the specially protected natural area. The living conditions of the lake’s fish population are described: its thermal regime, water chemistry, and oxygen supply. The history of fishing on Lake Bolshoye Murakanskoye and an assessment of fish stocks in the water body at present are provided. The possible catch is provided and recommendations on the fishing regime are proposed.
