Diatoms of Krasnoyarsk Reservoir

In total, 53 species, varieties, and forms of diatoms are found in the phytoplankton of Krasnoyarsk Reservoir using scanning electron microscopy. Among them, 24 are new for the reservoir, including 3 new for the flora of Russia (Achnanthidium minutissimum var. inconspicua, A. pseudolineare, and Sellaphora obesa). It expands the list of species of the Yenisei River up to 184. The findings of the Baikal endemics Didymosphenia geminata and Hannaea baicalensis, as well as the Ob form Aulacoseira ambigua f. curvata, expand the ranges of these algae.
