Abstract <p>In this paper, we perform numerical studies of a diffuse interface model which describes evolution of foam structure. The model itself and the computational algorithms used for its analysis are described in detail. The dependence of the steady-state foam structure on the free energy parameters of the system is examined. Purely explicit and linear semi-implicit approximations based on Eyre convex splitting are considered and evaluated numerically. Comprehensive numerical studies are performed to evaluate energy stability issues.</p>
