Abstract <p>This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the three parameter weighted quasi Suja distribution through its application to real world data sets, particularly in the fields of engineering and medicine. In addition to showcasing its practical utility, the study offers a comprehensive analysis of the distribution’s statistical properties including moments, generating functions, harmonic mean, hazard and reverse hazard rates and order statistics. Entropy measures along with Bonferroni and Lorenz curves, are also examined. Likelihood ratio testing and parameter estimation using maximum likelihood estimation are supported by a simulation study, further validating the proposed model.</p>
