Abstract <p>The paper presents a two-dimensional model of synthesis of a layered composite in sheet laminating technology. It is assumed that the process of product formation in the adhesive layer is accompanied by the structure formation. In turn, the structure formation is described as a reversible chemical reaction. Formulas for calculation of energy characteristics are presented, which are useful in numerical simulation for analysis of possible modes of transformation. The important role of the model parameters, on which the character of the temperature field and the dynamics of product accumulation depend, is demonstrated.</p>
