Zero-Truncated Discrete Gompertz–Lomax Distribution

Abstract
In this article, the zero-truncated discrete Gompertz–Lomax distribution is introduced. Some the statistical properties of the proposed distribution is provided. Maximum likelihood estimation is employed for model parameter estimation. In addition, the proposed distribution is applied to four real data sets to demonstrate the performance of fitting the proposed distribution to empirical data. As a result, the proposed distribution shows more appropriate than other competitive distributions for fitting these four data sets.
