Abstract

The effectiveness of urban community governance is an important symbol for assessing the modernization level of grassroots governance. An in-depth understanding of its core influencing factors and their functioning mechanisms is crucial for accurately improving the effectiveness of urban community governance. This study analyzes the key factors of urban community governance in Guangxi using structural equation modeling (SEM) and the results show that governmental leadership in community governance plays a fundamental role in the effectiveness of urban community governance by influencing the community resident self-governance and prompting the collaboration of social forces in community governance in a concerted manner. Therefore, in the future, it is necessary to further consolidate the leading role of grass-roots party and government in urban community governance, increase the resources inputs such as convenient service facilities in urban communities and to effectively integrate the governance functions of multiple subjects other than governmental leadership in order to enrich the path choices of urban community governance under the orientation of high-quality development.
