On Certain Numerical Scheme for Solving the Time-Domain Problem of Diffraction by a Perfectly Conducting Screen Based on Retarded Potentials

Abstract
The time domain problem of electromagnetic diffraction on a perfectly conducting screen is considered. A numerical method is constructed based on solving a delay integro-differential equation on the screen surface for surface currents and charges. This method uses the decomposition of surface currents into potential and solenoidal components. The method was tested using several model examples.
