Singular Integral Equation for a Conformal Cylindrical Microstrip Dipole Radiator

Abstract
The problem of current density distribution on the surface of a conformal cylindrical microstrip dipole radiator is reduced to a one-dimensional integral equation (IE). The Cauchy-type singularity was explicitly identified in the core of the resulting IE. It is shown that this IE is singular. A method for solving it is proposed. A convergence study was carried out. The complex current distributions on the surface of the radiator are presented.
