Integral Equation for a Conformal Cylindrical Microstrip Loop Radiator

Abstract
The problem of current density distribution on the surface of a conformal cylindrical microstrip loop radiator is reduced to a one-dimensional integral equation (IE). A method for solving it is proposed. As a result of the IE solution, an approximate formula for calculating of the surface current density distribution is obtained. The complex current distributions over the radiator surface at different values of the substrate relative permittivity are given.
