On the Initial Value Problem for Foliations

The paper concerns foliations of smooth manifolds, and the problem of constructing an immersion passing through a given initial immersion and containing leaves of the foliation under consideration. This problem arises when constructing global (largest) multivalued solutions to the Cauchy problem for overdetermined involutive systems of first-order nonlinear differential equations with one unknown function.
