Connecting KP and Strict KP with Their Discrete Versions

Abstract
In this paper, we describe how the wave matrices of the discrete KP hierarchy and its strict version relate to respectively the wave functions of the KP hierarchy and those of its strict version. This fact enables one to express the matrix coefficients of the perturbation part of the wave matrices of both discrete versions in a series of Fredholm determinants.
