Analysis of Biostatistical Indicators by Years in Azerbaijan
摘要
This study identifies the main trends in the dynamics of demographic indicators of the population of Azerbaijan. When studying the demographic indicators (average annual population, birth rate, mortality) of the population of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 1960–2022, it is found that the average annual population has a positive trend due to the birth rate, which has a steady downward trend throughout the period under study. The most important positive demographic factor is that the fertility and mortality curves for the years under study do not intersect; the birth rate in the Republic of Azerbaijan annually exceeds the mortality rate by 1.47–2.0 times. At the present stage, with a negative migration outflow of the population, the leading element of the demographic security of the population is the health status of every person in Azerbaijan. Further research conducted to analyze the demographic indicators of the population, organize conditions for providing high-quality and timely medical care, will allow us to develop ways to improve the quality of life of the population.
