Weighted Generalized Interval Cumulative Residual Entropy: Properties and Its Application
摘要
Abstract
The measurement of uncertainty is a well-known concept not only in the field of information theory but having its vast applications in different other sciences. In this article, we introduce a new uncertainty measure (entropy function), known as weighted generalized interval cumulative residual entropy. The various important properties and inequalities of this entropy function are discussed. A real life data set of bladder cancer patients is used to investigate the importance of this uncertainty measure.
