Group Acceptance Sampling Plans Based on Truncated Life Tests for Gamma Lindley Distribution with Real Data Application

This article develops a new group acceptance sampling plans (GASP) based on truncated lifetimes when the item’s lifetime follows gamma Lindley distribution (GLD). The model mean is considered as a quality parameter, then the minimum number of groups and acceptance number required for a specific group size are selected for a particular consumer’s risk and test termination time. The values of the operation characteristic function are calculated for various quality levels, and the minimum ratios of true average life to stipulated life at a certain producer’s risk are determined.
