摘要

Abstract

The non-enzymatic glucose sensor was fabricated by mixing carbon with nano-NiO prepared from nickel nitrate. The electrode prepared by optimizing the heat treatment conditions of NiO, NiO/graphite ratio and electrode activation condition showed high sensitivity to glucose. The linear range of the electrode was 100–1400 μM, sensitivity 136.25 μA/mM cm2, which was unaffected by interfering substances. The electrode is highly useful in the clinical diagnosis of diabetes as it can be used as a disposable electrode for the detection of glucose.
