JAK2 Inhibitors as the Elixir for Humans: A Truth or Myth (A Review)

Abstract
JAK2, one of the tyrosine Kinases belonging to the Janus Kinase family, is involved in cytokine-mediated cellular signaling. Overactivation of JAK2 has been linked to various malignancies including cancer and other autoimmune disorders. Hence, regulation of JAK2 makes a suitable therapeutic option in the management of various types of cancers, COVID-19, and other malignancies. This review comprehensively imbibes into the supporting facts to prove the effect of JAK2 overactivation in solid cancers and COVID-19 and the scope of employing JAK2 inhibitors in cases of these malignancies.
