Atlas Mapping of the Macroregion: Semiotics of Environmental Management

The results of research into the semiotic information and modular structure of atlases created on the territory of the transborder Baikal macroregion are presented. Using the example of atlas semiotic mapping of spatial structures of environmental management, it is shown that effective modeling techniques and balanced application of atlas semiotic structures and syntactic constructions of map signs are used. It is noted that the accumulated experience of the structural and semiotic organization of atlas cartographic works of the transborder Baikal region may have methodological and practical significance in creating a new atlas of Asian Russia.
