Clinical Effects of Fufang Haishe Capsule Combined with Aniracetam and Nicergoline in the Treatment of Vascular Dementia in the Elderly

This study aimed to investigate the clinical effects of Fufang Haishe capsules combined with aniracetam and nicergoline in the treatment of vascular dementia in elderly patients. Clinical efficacy, cognitive function, inflammatory cytokines, serum factors, cerebral hemodynamics, adverse reactions, and quality of life were investigated. The results obtained suggest that the combination of Fufang Haishe capsules with aniracetam and nicergoline has clear therapeutic effects in the treatment of vascular dementia in the elderly. This treatment can effectively reduce neurological impairment, inhibit inflammation, and normalize the levels of BDNF, Lp-PLA2, and SOD, which leads to an enhancement of cognitive function and improvement of quality of life.
