Application of Sequential Butylphthalide Therapy Combined with Urinary Kallidinogenase in Treating Acute Cerebral Infarction Complicated with Cognitive Dysfunction

Abstract

To investigate the efficacy of sequential butylphthalide therapy combined with urinary kallidinogenase in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction complicated with cognitive dysfunction. Sixty-two patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with cognitive impairment admitted to our Hospital from January 2022 to May 2022 were recruited by convenience sampling method. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table: the treatment group (n = 31) and the control group (n = 31). Patients in the treatment group received sequential butylphthalein therapy combined with urinary kallidinogenase, while patients in the control group were treated with traditional therapy. The efficacy of the two groups was compared. Different treatment methods showed different effects on the NIHSS score, MMSE score, MoCA score and mRS score of the two groups (FNIHSS treatment = 142.414, P < 0.001; FMMSE treatment = 87.418, P < 0.001; FMoCA treatment = 122.724, P < 0.001; FmRS treatment = 91.341, P < 0.001), and the scores of each scale in the treatment group were better than those in the control group at each time point, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). In terms of efficacy comparison, the response rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group (83.87% VS 61.29%, χ2 = 3.971, P = 0.046). No statistically significant difference was observed in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (19.35% VS 16.13%, χ2 = 0.111, P = 0.740). Sequential butylphthalide therapy combined with urinary kallidinogenase boasts improved efficacy in patients with acute minor stroke, improving their neurological deficits and promoting neurological recovery. Meanwhile, urinary kallidinogenase combined with butylphthalide can ensure better efficacy at the same incidence of complications.
