Abstract

Utilizing a basic technique of Taylor series expansion of the wave function, a phase equivalent energy-dependent local potential that corresponds to both a local and non-local interaction is constructed. A potential that depends on energy and momentum is obtained using the distorted non-local Hulthén interaction. The generated potential is utilized to calculate the scattering phase shifts by appropriately applying MacKellar-May and Behera’s phase equation. The outcomes for the nucleon-nucleon systems up to 1050 MeV match the usual data.
