This paper presents a systematic discussion of the design of all key subsystems of the ACCULINNA-2 facility: components of the primary beam line and beam diagnostics equipment, production target, and primary beam absorbers; equipment for the transport, purification, and diagnostics of the secondary beam; a RF-filter for additional beam purification; the cryogenic physical target; the forward spectrometer; and the automated control system.
