Formation of Neutrino Beams at the U-70 Accelerator Complex with Parent Particle Deflection

The question of neutrino beam formation with parent particles deflected to one side is discussed. The optical scheme of the channel is proposed to use a dispersionless two-magnet system with a field lens to select the required momentum interval of parent pi mesons. The dipole magnets deflect the beam to one side, so the decay part of the channel is rotated with respect to the direction of pointing of the primary proton beam at the target. The protons that do not interact in the target are dumped onto the absorber, the longitudinal coordinate of which corresponds to the beginning of the decay tube. The main parameters of the pi meson beam at the beginning of the decay section, as well as the neutrino characteristics at the far and near detectors located at a distance of 2595 km and 100 m from the end of the decay section of the channel, respectively, are discussed.
