Abstract

The competitiveness of Russian science is a determining factor in ensuring the security and technological independence of Russia. Its leadership in the global race for new knowledge and technologies defined by the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation is impossible without modern research infrastructure, the key element of which is unique scientific installations of the megascience class.
