On the Density and Intermolecular Interaction in the Eutectic System Thymol–L-Menthol

Abstract
The results of experimental determination of the density of the eutectic system thymol–L-menthol are presented. The dependence of density on composition and temperature in the liquid-phase region, as well as molecular dynamics modeling in a wide range of concentrations, is examined. On this basis, the behavioral characteristics of this system, the nature of deviations from ideality, and the possibilities of realizing metastable states are discussed.
