Transport Infrastructure of the Asia-Pacific Region: Development and Forecasts
摘要
Abstract
The Asia-Pacific region (APR) continues to increase production of industrial and agricultural goods and develop foreign trade relations. In recent years, emphasis has also been placed on intraregional ties. The growth of freight traffic objectively requires the development of transport infrastructure (including the construction of new roads and warehouse facilities), as well as population mobility. The article examines approaches to increasing investment in transport infrastructure developed by a number of authoritative Asia-Pacific organizations. Some opportunities for activating Russian business in the Asia-Pacific region are also touched upon.
