Prospects for Carbon Neutrality of the Chinese Economy: Technological Innovations and Interstate Projects
摘要
In an effort to achieve carbon neutrality, governments are developing technologies to reduce carbon emissions. China and Russia have approved policy documents containing recommendations for transforming the domestic energy balance into a low-carbon model. Interstate projects are an important tool for scientific innovation and technological decarbonization. The article analyzes the terms of cooperation, characteristics and technologies of projects to reduce carbon emissions in the field of nuclear energy, natural gas, construction, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). Presenting the experience of the PRC, the authors propose the development of a low-carbon model of the state based on a system for managing energy projects, changing the structure of the energy balance, using information technologies in the construction and operation of infrastructure facilities, improving education and training systems, and using dynamic monitoring models.
