Green Synthesis of Bioactive Polyhydroquinoline Derivatives via Hantzsch Condensation Using Sulfanilic Acid as a Versatile and Efficient Catalyst
摘要
Abstract
A straightforward and efficient synthetic approach for creating polyhydroquinoline derivatives by the Hantzsch reaction using sulfanilic acid as a versatile and efficient catalyst has been proposed. These polyhydroquinoline derivatives are notable for their diverse forms of biological activity. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed using spectroscopic techniques. This methodology provides several advantages, including high yields, cost-effectiveness, time efficiency, environmental friendliness, and operational simplicity.
