Green Synthesis of Bisindolylmethane Derivatives (A Review)
摘要
Abstract
Bisindolylmethane (BIM) derivatives represent an effective class of biologically active compounds. BIM derivatives were reported to exhibit antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant effects and many other pharmacological activities. This initiated the need for more effective, simple and rapid methods for their synthesis. Many of these methods are considered as green synthetic methods. The present review highlighted the most important methods reported for the synthesis of BIMs in the last 20 years with a special focus on the work published in the last five years.
