Abstract

3-Alkyl-5-(diethylaminomethyl)pyrazoles reacted with chloroacetyl chloride to give 1-chloroacetyl derivatives which were subjected to heterocyclization with thiobenzamide, thiourea, and N-phenylthiourea in the presence of triethylamine in ethanol. As a result, previously unknown 3-alkyl-5-(diethylaminomethyl)-1-(1,3-thiazol-4-yl)-1H-pyrazoles were synthesized.
