Abstract <p>The Friedel–Crafts acylation of oxacorroles were performed by the reaction of 10-oxacorrole and acid chlorides in the presence of AlCl<sub>3</sub>, which give the 2-acylated-oxacorrole in moderate yields with regioselectivity. The structures of all the products were characterized by NMR, and HRMS analysis.</p>
