Abstract <p>New functional derivatives of isobornylphenols containing a SCN group at the <i>para</i>-position of the benzene ring were synthesized. It was found that the nature of the solvent influences the reaction course. The use of polar aprotic solvents reduces the reaction time and increases the yield of the target product. The obtained thiocyanate derivatives of isobornylphenols exhibit antioxidant activity in various <i>in vitro</i> models.</p>
